Paradise Regain'd, Samson Agonistes, Poems on Several Occasions, Sonnets, Psalms), third Baskerville edition, 8vo (242 x 153mm.) List of subscribers to vol. 1. (Some damp-staining to D6 of vol. 2, preliminaries fragile with considerable loss to initial blank [1], inner hinge to vol. 2 splitting.) Early 19th century calf with triple fillet borders, the spine in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second compartment, the others with repeat decoration incorporating an acorn in gilt, gilt turn-ins, g.e., (lightly bumped to extremities, mark to lower cover of vol. 1). Provenance: Robert Milnes-Crewe (bookplate to front pastedowns); The West Horsley Place Collection.

[Bound with:] 'Black-beard, the Enchantress… containing the Secret Memoirs of Harriott Pumpkin, a celebrated actress'. London: Duncombe, [n.d. but circa 1810]. [Bound with:] Mr. Percy Wyndham 'Strictures on an Imposter, and Old Actress, formerly Bet the Pot Girl… Lord Dundonald Castigatory Letter to Edmund Antrobus, Sir Coutts Trotter, & co.'. London: W.B. Turner, [n.d. but circa 1820]. 3 works in 1, 8vo (215 x 127mm.) Extra-illustrated with 33 plates, 2 folding aquatint plates, 1 folding mezzotint plate and 3 a.l.s. (Some toning and browning, occasional spotting.) Late 19th century calf, double gilt borders, the spine in six compartments with raised bands, black lettering pieces (minor marks).
