POLITICS. - Walter, FARQUHAR. Letters Relating to the Love Episode of William Pitt… with an introduction by Lord Rosebery. London: printed for private circulation by John Murray, 1900. Small 4to (216 x 170mm.) Tipped-in a.l.s. from Lord Rosebery to Robert Milnes-Crewe. (Browning to front free endpaper.) Original red cloth, gilt monogram to upper cover (some fading and marks to lower cover). Note: former Prime Minister, Lord Rosebery, was Robert Milnes-Crewe's father-in-law. Provenance: Robert Milnes-Crewe (bookplate to front pastedown); The West Horsley Place Collection. - And ten volumes on politics (including H.H. Asquith's 'Studies and Sketches', signed, 1924, 8vo; and another book signed by Lord Rosebery) (11).
