An early 18th century silver medal by John Croker commemorating the Peace of Utrecht 1713, obverse with laureate and draped bust of Queen Anne facing left, reverse with Britannia standing, holding olive branch, shield and spear, ships at sea to the left, men ploughing and sowing a field to the right, Eimer 460, diameter 35mm, weight 15.9g (good/very fine with old cabinet tone). Provenance: the collection of the late Robert Pearce of Normanton Hall, Normanton-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire.
