A Dutch Delft lobed buckle dish, circa 1700, painted in blue and yellow with Chinese figures to the rim and centre within stylized foliate detail, diameter 21.5cm (riveted). Provenance: from the private collection of David Armitage, former conservator to the Department of Eastern Art at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, between 1970 and 1999.
