Two Chinese blue and white porcelain snuff bottles, late Qing dynasty, each of cylindrical form, one painted with peony and rocks, the other with precious objects, heights 7.7cm. Provenance: from the private collection of David Armitage, former conservator to the Department of Eastern Art at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, between 1970 and 1999.
