LOT 1270
A Chinese rock crystal snuff bottle, Qing dynasty, of flattened pear form, the body carved in low relief to each side with a shou medallion within scroll surround, height 7.8cm. Provenance: from the private collection of David Armitage, former conservator to the Department of Eastern Art at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, between 1970 and 1999.
