A pair of Ridgway moulded porcelain ice pails and covers, circa 1820-25, pattern No. 892, the cobalt blue ground U-shaped bodies richly gilt with fruiting vine beneath apricot borders, relief moulded with a diamond trellis pattern and cornucopia edge cartouches, painted with flowers, the pierced handles formed as curled branches, the knops as roses, raised on gilt dolphin feet and triform bases, height 33cm. Provenance: from the collection of the late Graham and Rhiannon Berridge.
