A fine Ridgway Imari Japan pattern part service, circa 1820, pattern No. 2/578, painted with gilt Greek key panels on a cobalt blue ground enclosing iron red flowers, within gilt overlaid apricot framing and pale blue rims, relief moulded with fruiting vine, the handles and knops formed as fruiting vine, comprising pierced oblong fruit basket and stand, oval footed centrepiece bowl, length 32cm, sauce tureen with integral base and cover, square dish, oval dish, two single-handled circular dishes, two trios and six plates, diameter 20.5cm, together with a matched London shape teacup and saucer, pattern No. 2/621. Provenance: from the collection of the late Graham and Rhiannon Berridge.
