A Ridgway moulded porcelain part dessert service, circa 1820-25, pattern No. 892, the cobalt blue ground pieces richly gilt with fruiting vine beneath apricot borders, relief moulded with a diamond trellis pattern and cornucopia edged cartouches, painted with flowers, the pierced handles formed as curled branches, the knops as roses, comprising three large two-handled footed oval centrepiece bowls, length 35.5cm, two oval two-handled bowls, length 30cm, two sauce tureens and covers with integral bases, four two-handled oval dishes, length 29.5cm, six single-handled circular dishes, length 24cm, and eleven plates, diameter 22cm, together with a matched teapot stand, pattern No. 2/825 (minor faults). Provenance: from the collection of the late Graham and Rhiannon Berridge.
