A good English Delft plate, London, circa 1770-80, painted in blue, green, yellow and manganese with a chinoiserie landscape of pagodas on islands, diameter 22.7cm, together with a similar plate, painted in blue, manganese and yellow (cracked), and a Bristol Delft plate, circa 1740-50, polychrome painted with a Chinese figure holding a fan beside bamboo. Provenance: from the collection of the late Professor Maurice Stacey.
