A pair of English Delft plates, probably Lambeth, circa 1760, polychrome painted in blue, manganese, red and yellow with a large tree on an Oriental style chinoiserie island within two geometric bands, diameter 23cm (minor faults), together with a pair of English Delft plates painted in blue with chinoiserie figures in a garden, diameter 22.5cm (faults). Provenance: from the collection of the late Professor Maurice Stacey.
