An unusual Delft charger, mid to late 18th century, painted in blue with two chinoiserie figures standing in a garden, the rim with stylized prunus blossom, possibly Liverpool, diameter 29.8cm (faults), together with six assorted Dutch Delft plates, 18th century, polychrome or blue painted mostly with flowers and foliage (faults and restoration). Provenance: from the collection of the late Professor Maurice Stacey.
