Rome: Typis Antonii de Rubeis apud Pantheon, 1720. 4to (271 x 198mm.) Engraved frontispiece of St. Paul effigies, engraved plate of coins. (Toning, spotting to rear pastedown.) Contemporary vellum, morocco lettering piece to the spine (browning, wear to spine ends, a later front-free endpaper). Note: an early biography of Pope Paul II who was ruler of the Papal states from 1464 to 1471. - And a related volume of Catholic biography ('Della Vita. E dell' Istituto Dis. Ignazio Fondatore della Compagnia di Gesu', 1735, 8vo) (2).
