A late 19th century French Rococo Revival ormolu cased mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate stamped 'Howell & Cie à Paris' , the embossed circular brass dial inset with enamel hour plaques and detailed 'Howell Paris', the case cast and pierced with flowers and rococo scrolls, height 30.5cm, with pendulum, winding key, glass dome and ebonized base (damage to one corner of dome).
