A George III oak longcase clock with thirty hour movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the painted break arch dial with black Roman hours and outer Arabic minutes, subsidiary date dial and rolling moon to the arch, inscribed 'J. Burton Norton', the hood with swan neck pediment and gilt ball finials, the trunk door flanked by fluted corner columns, on a plain base and bracket feet, height 226cm, with pendulum and weight.
