A George V silver and tortoiseshell mounted circular trinket box, the hinged lid piqué inlaid with a ribbon and pendant garland, on fleur-de-lis shouldered scroll legs, London 1921, height 5.5cm, together with a silver and tortoiseshell mounted five-piece dressing table set, each piece inlaid with ribbon and bellflower pendant garlands, comprising two hairbrushes, two clothes brushes and hand mirror, Birmingham 1920 by AES (hand mirror lacking glass).

A George III silver tankard, the girdled baluster body with domed hinged lid and scroll handle, on a stepped circular foot, the front with later engraved inscription, London 1776 by Thomas Wallis I, weight 803.3g, height 19.5cm.

A canteen of plated cutlery, comprising twelve table knives and forks, four tablespoons, twelve dessert knives, forks and spoons, twelve soup spoons, twelve fish knives and forks, twelve teaspoons, eighteen coffee spoons and a cheese knife, within an oak canteen case.

A group of silver, including a pair of pepper casters, Birmingham 1911, cased, a rectangular engine turned card case, Birmingham 1916, and a butter dish, Birmingham 1887, weighable items 262g, together with a German .835 silver three-piece dressing table set, comprising hand mirror, hairbrush and clothes brush.

An Indian white metal posy vase, embossed with buildings in landscapes, on a circular foot, height 21.2cm, together with a Burmese white metal bangle with engraved script flanked by cast and pierced deities, width 8.5cm, total weight 238g.

An Edwardian silver hip flask of curved oblong form with screw hinged lid, Sheffield 1909 by James Dixon & Sons, weight 121.9g, length 11.1cm.

A William III silver tankard, the slightly tapered cylindrical body engraved with an armorial above a spiral fluted basal band, flanked by a scroll handle engraved with another armorial and initialled 'M' over 'I-B', all beneath a domed hinged lid with foliate scroll thumbpiece, London 1695, maker's mark 'JS' in monogram within a wreath, weight 695.5g, height 16.5cm. Note: the unattributed maker's mark is recorded on page 142 of 'Jackson's English Goldsmiths and their Marks'.

A small collection of silver, including a Victorian cylindrical mustard with engraved decoration, London 1867, another plain cylindrical mustard, London 1877, a spoon, London 1956 by Geoffrey Guy Bellamy, and a Victorian pounce pot, London 1854 by Joseph Angell II, total weighable silver 421g, together with a small group of plated items, including two Sheffield plate salvers.

A Victorian silver circular bowl with beaded shaped rim, the sides chased with flowers and scrolls, on mask shouldered scroll feet, London 1877 by Robert Harper, diameter 11.9cm, together with a George III silver cream jug, height 12.4cm (marks rubbed), a silver cream jug, Birmingham 1913, and a silver cover, total weight 336.5g.

A set of four 19th century French silver oval salts, each embossed and pierced with cornucopia, lyres and anthemion united by acanthus festoons, fitted with blue glass liners, lengths 8.8cm, together with another pair of French pierced and embossed silver salts, fitted with blue glass liners (some faults), and a group of seven early 19th century silver condiment spoons.

Two early 19th century French silver mustards, each of cylindrical form with hinged lid and pine cone finial, fitted with a blue glass liner, one pierced and embossed with winged female supports, the other with cupids seated on animals, heights 10.5cm and 10.4cm.

A George VI silver rectangular inkstand, fitted with a pair of cut glass inkwells with silver collars and hinged lids, on scroll feet, London 1938 by Robert Pringle & Sons, weight excluding inkwells 568g.

An Elizabeth II silver and parcel gilt St Paul's Cathedral bowl of shallow circular form with gilt eagle handle, limited edition No. 602 of 900, to commemorate the three hundredth anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone of the cathedral in 1675, London 1975 by Jocelyn Burton for Aurum Ltd, weight 244g, length 17.5cm, boxed with certificate.

A late Victorian brown leather cased and plated picnic set, commemorating the 1893 Grand National winner 'Cloister', the rectangular case with hinged lid revealing a fitted interior of Hukin & Heath plated sandwich boxes, a pair of flasks, rectangular trays, telescopic cups, condiments and cutlery, each piece with engraved inscription 'Cloister' and further detail to large trays 'Grand National 1893. Cloister 12st 7lbs time 9 min:42.2/5 sec: won in a canter by 40 lengths beating all record', the case interior detailed 'Clark 20 Old Bond Street', the hinged lid exterior detailed 'Given to Prince A.de Chimay by A.Yates Bishop Sutton', length 33.5cm, height 23.5cm (two pieces of cutlery lacking and other minor faults). Note: Cloister was one of the best steeplechasers of the 19th century, coming second in two Grand Nationals before winning in 1893 by a record 40 lengths. He was trained by Arthur Yates from his yard at Bishop's Sutton, Alresford, Hampshire. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.

A pair of George III Sheffield plate cluster column candlesticks, each with a detachable nozzle on a square base decorated with portrait medallions and acanthus swags, height 31cm, together with a similar pair of Sheffield plate cluster column candlesticks, height 31.2cm.
