A Seiko Automatic 150M 'Slim Willard' stainless steel cased gentleman's diver's wristwatch, Ref. 6105-8000, circa February 1970, with signed and jewelled 6105B caliber movement, the signed black resist dial with luminous hour markers and date aperture and detailed 'Water 150M Proof', the case with black rotating bezel, the signed case back detailed '6105-8000' and numbered '024148', case width 4.2cm, fitted with a black rubber strap. Note: during the Vietnam War, Seiko watches were offered in the U.S. Military Post Exchanges on bases in South-east Asia. The 6105 was worn by Martin Sheen's character, Captain Willard, in Francis Ford Coppola's 1979 iconic war film Apocalypse Now.

Note: the 'Pogue' nickname was coined after NASA astronaut Colonel William Pogue, who wore a Seiko 6139 with yellow dial into space, making it the first automatic chronograph in space. He was part of the Skylab 4 mission, which lasted 84 days between 16th November 1973 and February 8th 1974.
