A Seiko 'Pogue' Chronograph Automatic stainless steel gentleman's bracelet wristwatch, Ref. 6139-6002, circa May 1971, with signed and jewelled 6139B caliber movement, the signed yellow dial with luminous hour markers, subsidiary dial and day and date apertures and detailed 'Water 70M Resist', surrounded by an inner rotating bezel, the case with blue and red tachymeter scale bezel, the signed case back detailed '6139-6002' and numbered '155401', the original bracelet with signed foldover clasp, case width 4cm. Note: the 'Pogue' nickname was coined after NASA astronaut Colonel William Pogue, who wore a Seiko 6139 with yellow dial into space, making it the first automatic chronograph in space. He was part of the Skylab 4 mission, which lasted 84 days between 16th November 1973 and February 8th 1974.
