A Seiko Automatic 150M 'Captain Willard' stainless steel cased gentleman's diver's wristwatch, Ref. 6105-8119, circa April 1974, with signed and jewelled 6105B caliber movement, the signed black dial with luminous hour markers and date aperture and detailed 'Water 150M Resist', the case with black rotating bezel, the signed case back detailed '6105-8119' and numbered '441540', case width 4.4cm, fitted with signed XGL 731 strap, with original case and outer card box. Note: during the Vietnam War, Seiko watches were offered in the U.S. Military Post Exchanges on bases in South-east Asia. The 6105 was worn by Martin Sheen's character, Captain Willard, in Francis Ford Coppola's 1979 iconic war film Apocalypse Now.
