A scarce Henry I hammered silver penny 1100-1135, pellets in quatrefoil type, moneyer 'Ailpard on Pilt', Wilton Mint, Sp 1275 (extremely fine and well-struck for type), with an old ticket detailing the coin as part of the Canterbury Hoard found in 1901 and 'From the Taffs Sale 21/11/56, Lot 131'. Note: the Taffs Sale refers to the collection of the late H.W. Taffs, London, sold by Glendining & Co. This coin was also sold by Spink & Son in 2004.

A scarce Stephen hammered silver penny 1135-1154, cross moline Watford type, moneyer appears to read 'Sama', probably Samar on Lerec, Leicester Mint, Sp 1278 (good/very fine for issue, dark toned, on a square-trimmed flan), with a collector's ticket.

A Henry II hammered silver penny 1154-1189, Tealby type, moneyer 'Willem on Novoc', Newcastle Mint (good/very fine for issue, dark toned with some friction rub to high points), with two old and one more recent ink-written tickets, one identifying the coin as Class C.

A Henry II hammered silver penny 1180-1189, short cross coinage on large flan, moneyer 'Reinard on Lvnd', London Mint, Class 16, Sp 1344 (good/fine for issue, dark-toned, some friction to high points).

A scarce Richard I hammered silver penny 1189-1199, short cross coinage, moneyer 'Henrie on Lun', London Mint, 1d Class 46, Sp 1348c (good/fine).

A John hammered silver penny 1199-1216, short cross coinage, moneyer 'Rauf on Lund', London Mint, 1d Class 5c, Sp1352 (good/very fine with even cabinet toning).

A Henry VII hammered silver groat 1485-1509, regular profile issue, triple band to crown, mintmark cross-crosslet, Sp 2258 (very fine for issue, dark old cabinet tone).

A Henry VIII hammered silver groat 1526-1544, second coinage, Laker bust profile, obverse with reversed 'D's forming 'C's, probably Sp 2337E.
