A Chinese brown 'hare's fur' glazed pottery bowl, Song dynasty, of typical circular tapering form, covered inside and out with a finely streaked cinnamon to dark brown glaze, diameter 9.6cm, height 4cm, together with a Chinese pale celadon glazed pottery bowl, Ming dynasty, diameter 14.7cm. Provenance: accompanied by purchase receipts from Ancient Art, dated 15/10/99 and 10/12/99.

A Chinese small jade snuff bottle, Qing dynasty, of well-hollowed flattened ovoid form, each side carved in low relief with an oval panel depicting a seated figure and a boat, the stone of pale celadon tone with pale brown inclusions, height 5cm, with brass and coral mounted stopper. Provenance: accompanied by a purchase receipt from Robert Kleiner & Co Ltd, London, dated 25th November 2000.

A Chinese pale celadon jade libation cup, 20th century, the horn shaped bowl supported by a crouching Buddhistic lion, carved and pierced with a chilong climbing over the rim to form a handle, height 8.6cm (hairline crack to rim and minor chips).

A Chinese two-tone agate brushwasher, probably late Qing dynasty, the grey stone body carved in relief with russet blossoming prunus, length 7.8cm, height 3.2cm (minor chips), together with a Chinese two-tone agate pebble snuff bottle and stopper, the grey stone body carved in relief with iron red/russet bat, branch and flowers, length 7.2cm.

A Chinese Yangzhou School green overlay on white glass snuff bottle, mid-19th century, carved to one side with a seated musician playing a lute, the reverse with cricket and trailing gourds, height 6cm (minor nicks to ring handles), together with a claret red overlay on snowflake glass snuff bottle, height 6.7cm (lacking stopper), and a red overlay and white glass snuff bottle, carved with birds in prunus branches, height 4.5cm. Provenance: the Yangzhou School bottle accompanied by purchaser receipt from Robert Kleiner & Co Ltd London, dated 30th November 1998.

A Chinese agate snuff bottle, probably late Qing dynasty, of flattened shouldered rectangular form, the pale grey stone with russet streaks, height 5.5cm, with stopper, together with another agate snuff bottle of flattened circular form, carved in low relief with mask handles, height 6cm, with stopper.

A Chinese inside-painted glass snuff bottle, 20th century, of rounded form, painted with figural scenes against a gilt ground, lines of black text and red signature seal of Liu Shouben to one side, height 5.3cm, with stopper, together with a miniature glass inside-painted bottle, height 3.3cm, and three porcelain snuff bottles.

A Chinese Canton export tortoiseshell diminutive snuff bottle and stopper, probably late Qing dynasty, carved in relief with flower-charged cornucopia and musical instruments, length 4cm, together with a horn snuff bottle and stopper, height 4cm, and a wooden bezique counter.

A small group of Chinese famille rose export porcelain teaware, 18th century and later, comprising a teabowl, painted with precious objects, height 4cm (minor hairline), a small teabowl, painted with opposing figural panels, height 3.7cm, another teabowl, painted with ducks and lotus, height 3.5cm, and three matching saucers/stands, diameters 7cm (hairlines).

A pair of Chinese porcelain cylinder vases/hat stands, Republic period, each painted with a bearded figure, wearing a yellow robe and pulling a shoe on as he holds a peach branch between his teeth, painted lines of black text and two red seals to side of each, height 29cm (faint hairline star cracks to bases).

A Chinese jade handled and metal mounted magnifying glass, late 20th century, length 18.3cm, together with two Chinese soapstone carvings and a green soapstone 'puzzleball', with wood stand, cased.

A Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain vase, mid to late 19th century, the ovoid body and flared neck painted with figural scenes, reserved against a bird and flower ground, applied chilong to shoulders and Buddhistic lion cub handles, height 35.5cm (later converted to a table lamp).

A Chinese famille verte archaistic gu-form porcelain vase, Kangxi period, the panelled square mid-section painted with precious vessels, objects and Buddhistic lion, the flared upper and lower neck and base sections filled with birds, rocks and flowers, height 43cm (repaired neck, chips and converted to a table lamp).

A small group of Chinese ceramics, mostly 19th century, comprising a teadust glazed vase, height 19.5cm (cracked), a turquoise pottery bottle vase with gilt metal base, height 16cm, a celadon crackle glazed porcelain jar and cover, height 16.5cm (cracked), a celadon glazed bowl, diameter 15.4cm (rim chips), and an unglazed circular bowl (cracked).

A Japanese Satsuma earthenware tea set by Shuzan, Meiji period, each piece painted and gilt with figures in landscapes, comprising teapot and cover, two-handled sugar bowl and cover, milk jug and cover, and six cups and saucers, gilt and black signature seal to bases, height of teapot 12.7cm.

A Japanese brown patinated bronze and champlevé enamel vase, Meiji period, the ovoid body decorated with blue enamelled lotus and scrolling leafy tendrils, the neck with similarly decorated red enamelled band, applied with three mask and tongue handles, height 24cm.

A Chinese carved bamboo jostick holder and cover, early 20th century, modelled in the form of a standing Buddha, height 39cm, together with a Japanese brass censer, modelled as Fukurokuju seated on a sack, height 19.5cm, an Indian bronze figure, height 24cm, a carved wood figure, height 14cm, and an Islamic brass vessel with engraved decoration, height 16.5cm.

A Chinese famille rose export porcelain oval soup tureen and cover, Qianlong period, painted with a tobacco flower pattern within gilt borders, flanked by a pair of plumed mask handles, the cover with pierced crown-shaped finial, height 27.5cm, length 31cm (repaired section and restored handles). Note: this form of tureen is modelled after a Meissen original by Johann Friedrich Eberlein, circa 1737.

A Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain salad bowl, mid-19th century, the exterior painted with a continuous figural scene beneath a gilt banded rim filled with butterflies, bats, fruit, flowers and scrolling tendrils, repeated to the interior, height 12.8cm, width 24.5cm.
