A Chinese hardwood two-tier centre table, late 19th century/early 20th century, the rectangular top inset with a rouge marble panel with a carved gadrooned border, the frieze carved in low relief with lotus and scrolling leafy tendrils, the apron carved and pierced with further lotus within archaistic scroll borders, raised on Buddhistic lion mask and foliate shouldered legs, united by an undertier, on claw and ball feet, height 81cm, length 86cm, depth 67.5cm.
