A Chinese hardwood and inlaid hardstone screen and stand, late Qing dynasty, the rectangular panel inlaid in soapstone, hardstone, ivory and mother-of-pearl with a scene of eight immortals and Shoulao with attendant boy beside a pavilion in a garden setting, the frame with keyfret border, the stand with scroll supports, the front carved in low relief with lotus and fruit above a shaped apron, height 97cm, width 61.5cm (some faults and losses).
