(Lacking maps for Derbyshire, Devon, Dorset, Kent and Somerset, browning, a few minor paper repairs to verso, occasional creasing, a few marginal closed tears.) Later red cloth (replaced endpapers, minor soiling). Note: the map of 'England and Wales' is dated '2nd edition, corrected to 1814'. Provenance: Worthing Public Library (bookplate to the front pastedown).

Calligraphic title with engraved map of England and Wales, 46 hand-coloured county maps each with an ecclesiastical vignette. (Fourteen maps with damp-staining, several with the shadow of damp-staining, creasing to the title, browning, a few small marginal repairs.) Later red cloth (endpapers replaced, surface rubbing). Provenance: West Sussex County Libraries (bookplate to front pastedown).

Note: most engravings by Campiglio and Ferrati, including self-portraits of Leonardo da Vinci, Durer, Cranach, Holbein, Caracci, Rubens, Rossi and Bandinelli.

DALMENY, Lady. The Spanish Ladye's Love. London: Dickinson & Son, 1846. Folio (529 x 334mm.) Illustrated title with hand-colouring, 8 lithographed plates by Lowes Dickinson with hand-coloured initials to the accompanying verses. (Spotting, browning and small tears to the margins.) Original cloth-backed card covers (chipping, minor loss, soiling). Note: rare.
