A rare Manhattan Fire Arms Company .36 calibre five-shot Navy Model Series IV revolver with sighted octagonal barrel, barrel length 12cm, detailed to the face edge 'Manhattan Fire Arms Co. Newark N.J. Patented March 8 1864', steel lever action and unusual heavy cast brass handle with moulded ribbed grips.
