An 18th century cannon-barrel percussion pistol with turned round barrel, barrel length 13.5cm, round locks, indistinctly marked with maker's name and 'London' within a frame of foliate motifs and decoration, and swollen carved walnut and white metal-mounted grip with lion-mask appliqué to the butt (probably converted from flintlock, action defective, some old losses and restoration).
