A rare International Bank of Luxembourg partial banknote die proof engraver's test strike for the obverse of a twenty francs note, circa 7th March 1966, in blue with portrait vignette of Grand Duke Jean to left side, together with an International Bank of Luxembourg partial die proof engraver's test strike of the obverse of a ten francs note, in green with portrait vignette of Grand Duchess Charlotte, both mounted part-tacked on paper with cut frames (both extremely fine). Provenance: from the personal archive of the late Alan Dow, master banknote engraver to Bradbury Wilkinson & Co and the Bank of England.
