A late 19th century French brass and Sèvres style porcelain carriage clock by Margaine, the eight day movement striking hours and half hours on a gong, the backplate with stamped maker's mark, the porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals and detailed 'Howell, James & Co to the Queen London', and painted with cherubs and flowers within gilt and bleu céleste borders, the porcelain side panels similarly painted, the foliate scroll engraved corniche case with swing handle, height 16cm.
