LOT 1215
A late 19th century French lacquered brass gorge cased carriage clock by Drocourt, with eight day movement striking hours and half hours and repeating on a gong, the signed backplate stamped '35793', the enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals and outer Arabic minutes, detailed 'Examined by Dent 34 Cockspur St London', the gorge case with swing handle and bevelled glass panels, the underside with two position lever for 'Striking' and 'Silent', height 17.5cm, with leather travellling case and key.
