A late 19th century French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate inscribed 'Howell & James Paris', the porcelain circular dial painted with flowers within a blue band with gilt Roman hour numerals, the case with foliate laden urn surmount above foliate scrolls, the front inset with three further porcelain panels painted with flowers within blue and gilt borders, on a breakfront base and toupie feet, height 39cm, with pendulum and two winding keys.
