(Spotting to portrait, toning, uncut leaves.) Original brown blind-stamped cloth, gilt lettering to spines (lightly rubbed). – And a further two related volumes (W.G. Brownlow’s ‘Sketches of the Rise, Progress, and Decline of Secession; with A Narrative of Personal Adventures Among the Rebels’, 1862, 8vo, and the second edition of ‘Memoirs of Sir Thomas Fowell Buxton, Bart.’ edited by his son Charles Buxton, 1849, 8vo) (3).
