COOKERY. – Theodore Francis GARRETT. The Encyclopaedia of Practical Cookery. London: L. Upcott Gill, [1890.] 8 vols. in 4, 8vo (278 x 209mm.) Chromolithographed plates, some folding, numerous illustrations in the text. (Mild toning.) Contemporary red half morocco, gilt lettering (extremities lightly rubbed). Provenance: Edward Braxton Reynolds (bookplate to the front pastedown). – And a further two volumes (including ‘Cassell’s Dictionary of Cookery’, [1904], 8vo) (6).
