Limited edition, this being number 344 of 500 copies for the United Kingdom, 4to (274 x 226mm.) Photogravure portrait of Dickens on india paper as frontispiece, 23 photogravure plates by Gaugengigl and Chominski. (Spotting to frontispiece, offsetting to title, toning.) Original green and white cloth with holly leaf in relief, gilt to upper cover, t.e.g. (some browning and minor soiling to covers). Provenance: W. Miller (name-plate to rear pastedown).
