SIGNED BOOKS. – Clive BARKER. Books of Blood. London: Sphere Books Limited, 1984-1985. 6 vols., all signed and inscribed by the author with 3 original ink illustrations, 8vo (178 x 108mm.) (Toning.) Original card covers. Note: signed ‘To Dave, love and best wishes, Clive Barker’, and dated, and in volume V ‘To Dave, the worst is yet to come, Clive’, and three of the books have an ink illustration by the author. Volume VI is a detailed and explicit male nude, volume IV has a dog with a phallus nose, while volume V is more decorative. Provenance: Dave Baldock (inscribed to from the author on the title-pages) (6).
