A George I crown 1723, edge detailed 'Decimo', 'SSC' to angles for the South Sea Company, S3640 (fine, possibly cleaned in the past but now with cabinet tone). Provenance: the collection of the late Robert Pearce of Normanton Hall, Normanton-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire.
