A George I crown 1716, edge detailed 'Secundo', S3639 (extremely fine with some underlying brilliance and patchy old cabinet tone), with copy of original approval invoice from B.A. Seaby Ltd, dated 6th March 1946, for £7-15s. Provenance: the collection of the late Robert Pearce of Normanton Hall, Normanton-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire.
