Eight powdered manganese ground Dutch delft tiles, 18th century, including two painted with fishermen, one with a central blue painted circular panel depicting a standing female, one with a circular blue painted windmill and two with buildings, each approx 13cm square (faults and restoration). Provenance: from the private collection of David Armitage, former conservator to the Department of Eastern Art at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, between 1970 and 1999.
