LOT 1712
A set of four Dutch delft tiles, mid to late 18th century, each painted in manganese with a flower-filled urn or vase, the corners with vertical line and dot detail, each approx 13.3cm square, together with four other manganese painted delft tiles, including two with biblical subjects (faults and restoration). Provenance: from the private collection of David Armitage, former conservator to the Department of Eastern Art at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, between 1970 and 1999.
