A Sunderland lustre jug, circa 1840, printed in black with a titled portrait of the Wesleyan Minister Adam Clarke, opposing verse framed by flowers, height 13.8cm, together with a child's nursery plate, printed in black with 'Joseph's First Dream', diameter 19cm, a Worcester Fence pattern coffee pot (lacking cover), three Staffordshire figures and a pearlware figure group, height 20cm (faults and repairs). Provenance: from the estate of the late Raymond Briggs, the world renowned author and illustrator of The Snowman, Father Christmas and Fungus The Bogeyman.
