A mid-19th century French Paris porcelain cased mantel clock and stand, the eight day movement with silk suspension striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate signed 'Berton a Paris', the silvered dial with black Roman hour numerals, the rococo scroll moulded balloon shaped case painted with a figural panel to front and flower panels to sides within blue and gilt borders, the similarly decorated serpentine shaped stand with moulded scallop shell apron and foliate scroll feet, total height 36.4cm (some faults), with pendulum.
