A late 19th century French gilt metal mounted and red tortoiseshell boulle cased bracket clock and matched bracket, the clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the embossed gilt dial inset with enamel hour plaques with blue Roman hour numerals, the balloon shaped case with putto finial above inlaid foliate scrolls, further gilt metal mounts and glazed lenticle, height 41cm, with sunburst pendulum, the bracket similarly decorated, width 26.5cm.
