A George IV silver claret jug of lobed baluster form, the hinged lid with fruiting vine finial, the body engraved with an armorial within a relief frame of fruiting vine stems, flanked by a similarly decorated scroll handle, on a cast undulating stepped scallop shell effect shaped circular foot, London 1829 by Charles Fox II, weight 1204.9g, height 34.2cm. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
