LOT 1265
A George III mahogany bracket clock with eight day twin fusee movement striking hours on a bell with pull repeat mechanism, the 8-inch painted circular convex dial with black Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'James Reid London', the case with moulded arch pediment and pad top with brass carrying handle, above pierced brass fret panels to front and glazed panels to sides, on a moulded plinth base and brass bracket feet, height 42.6cm, with pendulum, two case keys and winding key. Note: James Reid is a recorded London clockmaker working in Ball Alley pre-1789 to 1824.
