A Chinese blue and white export porcelain tea caddy, Kangxi period, of ovoid form, painted with prunus on a cracked ice ground, height 10cm, with wood cover. Provenance: from the private collection of David Armitage, former conservator to the Department of Eastern Art at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, between 1970 and 1999.
