A Ridgway & Abington pale green stoneware relief moulded jug, dated 1855, featuring soldiers from France, Turkey and Britain shooting, stabbing and bayonetting the Russian eagle, impressed relief mark to base, height 21cm, together with a mixed group of other 19th century relief moulded jugs, including a graduated set of three, decorated after the Eglinton tournament in pale green, and a similar set of three in buff stoneware, decorated with oak leaves and acorns (minor faults). Provenance: from the collection of the late Graham and Rhiannon Berridge.
