A feldspathic stoneware Queen Caroline commemorative jug, circa 1820, the white body sprigged in high relief blue with a half-length portrait of the queen opposing a bird in a laurel frame, the flowers of the union beneath the spout, all beneath an entwined laurel garland and oak leaves to the neck, height 14cm. Provenance: from the collection of the late Graham and Rhiannon Berridge.
