An English porcelain cabinet cup and saucer, mid-19th century, probably Ridgway, the cup painted in shades of grey with an oval panel of Cupid seated on a cloud writing a letter, within a green and gilt frame on a band of gilt leaves, the similarly painted saucer with three panels depicting trophies of love, pattern No. 5/4507, diameter of saucer 14.3cm, together with a blue and gilt painted coffee can depicting a lion in a chinoiserie setting, height 6cm. Provenance: from the collection of the late Graham and Rhiannon Berridge.
