Seventeen Ridgway armorial dessert plates, circa 1850, of shaped circular form, each painted to the centre with the Westhead crest and motto 'ORA ET LABORA', within puce ground rims with gilt overlaid foliate scroll decoration and cobalt blue strapwork, puce printed factory marks to bases with inscription 'Presented to J.P. Westhead Esq', diameter 26cm. Provenance: from the collection of the late Graham and Rhiannon Berridge.
