A Chinese gilt copper and cloisonné enamel Tibetan style prayer wheel, mark of Qianlong but probably later, the cylindrical outer case and cover decorated with a formal design of polychrome lotus and scrolling tendrils on a turquoise ground, framing four apertures, the similarly decorated inner cylindrical wheel framing six Lanca characters, rotating via a central upright spindle handle with foliate finial, four-character mark to base, height 25.5cm. Provenance: the property of a West Sussex private collector.
