LOT 1190
A late Victorian ebonized and gilt brass mounted bracket clock with eight day triple fusee movement chiming quarters on a nest of nine bells and striking hours on a gong, the backplate and pendulum with engraved foliate decoration, the brass breakarch dial with silvered chime/silent and chime selection subsidiary dials to arch above a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and outer Arabic minutes, matt centre and cast and pierced foliate spandrels, the case with foliate finials above a moulded arch pediment, glazed door and herm corner columns, drop handles and pierced fret panels to sides, on a moulded rectangular plinth base and cast foliate feet, height 53.5cm, with matching wall bracket, pendulum and winding key.
