A late 19th century French gilt metal mounted boulle and red tortoiseshell mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate stamped 'C.J & Co', the white enamelled circular dial with blue Roman hour numerals and outer black Arabic minutes, the case inlaid with foliate scrolls and with gilt metal scroll mounts and glazed lenticle, height 32.5cm, with pendulum.
